The Bride and Groom

The first day the groom laid his eyes on and met his beautiful bride.
Devon and her best friend Emily Baer (the matchmaker) were roommates together at BGSU after they met at a club soccer tryout in August of 2017. Devon and Emily were going out for a fun night in Bowling Green, OH and it just so happened to be on the Grooms Birthday. He was out with a couple of his friends celebrating, and Emily and Devon decided to crash the party. A couple of drinks, chats, and long loving stares Brock and Devon were a match. But he didn’t ask her out quite yet.
The lovebirds meet again
At this point Devon and Emily were living together at 111 N Enterprise. The girls decided to throw a house party to celebrate the new school year and celebrate living together. Emily invited some of her friends from highschool to the party and surprise surprise the Groom was apart of that group. Even though the Bride and Groom saw each other for the first time again almost a year later, they were talking over social media during that year apart. Devon admits she didn’t recognize the groom at first until he dared her to a “shot gunning race” and then it clicked for her on who he was. (That is an inside joke between the lovebirds.)

Officially Dating
Finally the day came where the Groom asked his Bride to be his girlfriend. Only 2 months after seeing each other in person and after a year of chatting over social media the lovebirds made it official.

Getting down on one knee
After 6 years of dating which included getting a crazy fun loving border collie, a duplex remodel, forcing the groom to enjoy winter skiing and snowboarding, and buying a house with a little bit of land the groom finally got down on one knee in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (on the brides ski bucket list) and asked his bride to be his forever.
